Prague March 2016 events

The capital city of the Czech Republic is an exciting and lively place to be, so here are the best Prague March 2016 events to look forward to if you happen to celebrate the coming of spring on these beautiful lands!

Visiting Prague is beautiful in any season, but somehow seeing nature resurrect makes it positively divine and outstanding. So a Prague tour can be just as good a plan as any, especially if you get a boat trip on the Vltava to see the colors of spring coming back to the trees and the parks and the gentle sun shining over the old, medieval buildings.

But here are also a few of the events you can attend in the Czech metropolis:

Starting from March 1st and until the end of the year, you can visit the National Museum exhibition Noah’s Ark. Drawing from the Biblical story, the show means to reveal the magnificence and beauty of the animal species.

Come to Prague this spring and enjoy the merry St. Mathew Funfair, the first European spring fair, dating back to the 16th century. Music, excitement and fun are in store, along with over 100 attractions and rides, including swings, bumper-cars and even the Loch Ness carousel! The ongoing fair will last until April 17th.

You’re still in time to prepare for the 23rd edition of the Prague International Film Festival, the largest such film event in the Czech Republic. It started off as an independent no-budget movie show, it grew into a prominent national and international event. The atmosphere is always warm and friendly and you are more than welcome to join!

And just because you’re not in Ireland doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate an amazing St. Patrick’s Day on March 17th! After all, the Irish and the Czech both love beer!

And to travel around town swiftly, you can employ Prague airport transfers to take you anywhere!
