Val Thorens is a beautiful ski resort in the French Alps, nested in the Tarentaise Valley. At 2.3 kilometers altitude, this is the highest skiing resort on the Old Continent. The snow is always there, soft and pefect, the slopes in excellent condition, plus the atmosphere is urban, sophisticated, yet friendly and exciting.
There are clubs and bars and shops and after-ski activities. Can you join in even if you can’t ski? Of course you can! Last but not least, Austria is both popular and convenient if you are looking for a skiing vacation in Europe. The St. Anton resort is lovely, located in a countryside mountainous and natural environment.
