Top French destinations

By default, France defies any sort of categorization. But no matter, we are not here to talk about what France is all about, but to discuss about what we think are the Top French destinations.

With the risk of seeming utterly predictable, number one French destination of all times must be Paris, the romantic and avant garde Capital city. Instead of talking volumes about its tourist attractions, its Eiffel Tower, the Versailles nearby and the outstanding Louvre Museum, we won’t spoil the surprise, but let you get lost around the narrow winding streets and wide boulevards and discover the hidden wonders of this immortal metropolis.

A word of advice: if you get too lost, call on Paris airport transfers to come pick you up.

Marseilles, on the southern coast, is a warm, sunny and happy Mediterranean destination. Home to great museums, great park and a bunch of great people as well, it will introduce you to an atmosphere of verve and happiness. Here, if you are unsure about traffic, you can also choose Marseilles airport transfers, or as an alternative, if you know the city, you can rent a car in Marseilles.

East of Blois, we simply must invite you to visit the Chateau de Chambord, constructed in the 16th century by King Francois I. After Versailles, it is the second most popular castle in France – and bear in mind that there are many of those!

If you want to socialize with the most rich and famous – and posh – out there, you can do this in Saint Tropez, the notorious French Riviera seaside resort. Who knows, maybe you’ll even catch the eye of a millionaire!

If, however, you suspect you were a hermit in a past life, you can take refuge in the Norman Benedictine Abbey of St Michel, a secluded island with a medieval air.

The choice is yours and this is just a glimpse of France!
