Three world class beach destinations
We talk about lots of beach destinations on here, but we can never have enough of them regardless of how many tops we make or ‘best beaches’ we talk about, and today won’t be anything different, we’re going to look at a few great beach destinations.
The Phi Phi Islands are part of the Krabi Province of Thailand, and you may or may not recognize them as being the filming location for the film, The Beach.
The Maya Bay is the iconic stretch of sand from the film and seen in real life it is so much more unbelievably scenic to be surrounded by immense limestone cliffs.
This is very much the definition of an idyllic beach with soft with sand and aquamarine water, all of which are bathed in the purest of sunlight. Of course Maya Bay isn’t the only great place to soak up the sun, there’s also many Koh Phi Phi beaches, but as a tip you might want to consider visiting between November and April since this is the season when you’ll encounter less rain.
Menorca – Balearic Islands, Spain
Something of a holidaying classic, the island of Menorca is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, an island celebrated for an incredible coastline and very lush inland areas, making it a great place for the more intrepid adventurer.
Menorca features an astounding number of beaches to choose from, over 100, and this makes it a great destination for those looking for a total experience in regards of seaside holidays.
Beaches to try out should feature Cala Galdana and Playa de Binigaus, just to name a couple.
Skiathos – Greece
Skiathos is part of the Sporades Islands, and is considered to be one of the best islands in a place with already great beaches.
The island features about sixty beaches which feature a great combination of white sand and beautifully clear water.
