What’s great about Australia as a destination for a yacht holiday is that the phrase ‘Seen it all’ does not come into the picture. Australia’s Great Barrier Reef may seem an obvious and heavily traveled spot, but to miss out on its grandeur would be tantamount to criminal. And if you find yourself toward the south coast, you’ll be tantalizingly close to Australia’s most opulently luxurious resorts, spas and shopping opportunities, which are just begging to be indulged in.
From the hauntingly deserted beaches of the Whitsunday Islands to the bustling heart of Melbourne and right through to the unearthly and seemingly endless outback, Australia presents a unique and bountiful treasure chest for discerning travelers. And for the yacht charter traveler in particular, a country with more than 10,000 of the world’s finest beaches scattered across 50,000km of coastline…well, the numbers pretty much speak for themselves.
