Amazing trip from Thailand to Cambodia
I had always wanted to travel around the world but I only had a few short weeks available at a time to travel, so I had to adjust to this situation and make trips for a short period. Since I decided to go to Bangkok, Thailand and then from there to the great island called Puket for about 4 weeks in total so, I was wondering if I can travel for a few days in the countries nearby, like Cambodia or Malaysia but I didn’t have a good plan at that time.
I did speak with some traveling friends that I had made during my stay in Bangkok and I found out about an amazing trip for 3 up to 5 days from Bangkok to Angkor Wat Cambodia. My friend said, “If you’re in Thailand and you’d like to see Angkor Wat without breaking the bank, this is the way to do it.” so I said that I should go for it and book it for the next week.
The temples are really worth seeing and all the main inner sights around Angkor like: Angkor Thom,Ta Phrom,Bayon and Angkor Wat. For people coming from outside this continent, the clash with the Orient is an amazingly enriching cultural experience.
I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the driver spoke perfect English so for me it was very easy to communicate. The same way, a professional and very friendly driver (I am sorry I do not remember his name), drove us the second day, when we made a trip during which I saw 3 of the main attractions of the area: Banteay Srei, Preah Kahn, Banteay Samre and Pre Rup. I took many beautiful photos there too.
The whole trip was an amazing experience, and I saw the fascinating floating Village at the Tonle Sap lake as well, another wonderful place to take pictures and build beautiful, lasting memories with my friends that will stay with me forever.
