The Attraction Of Booking A Luxury Ski Chalet For Your Winter Holiday

There’s not much to look forward to in terms of weather in the UK during the winter months. Rain, grey clouds, wind; even if we get snow it quickly turns to slippery grey slush so it’s great if you’ve got something to look forward to and lift your mood.

Winter ski holidays are a great way of doing this and it’s much easier to put up with miserable weather here if you’ve got a luxury break planned.

Now some people may think “why spend all that money on a holiday in winter?” but if you take a look at photographs online of various ski resorts then it’s easy to see the attraction. Just imagine waking up to beautiful blue skies, crisp white snow and superb mountain scenery. Doesn’t that make you want to go right now?

So, where do you choose for your luxury ski holiday? Switzerland or Austria may come to mind first for many people but France or even Canada may be an option for some. With the tourist industry being the main form of employment for many of the regions and competition being fierce, you are sure to get a warm welcome wherever you choose. Courcheval in France is a good choice if fine dining and designer shopping are what you like. You may even spot a celebrity or two, or maybe a member of the Royal Family.

You’ll be spoilt for choice in Switzerland with the numerous mountain villages all offering the chance of a fantastic break. Davos, Klosters, Zermatt; all have something slightly different in accommodation and scenery to offer. Why not make it a family vacation and book a large luxury chalet, many of which will come with their own staff so you won’t need to lift a finger to even cook a meal. Sounds like the perfect break to me!

White Blancmange very kindly supplied this guest post which showcases their extensive knowledge of the luxury ski chalets they offer across Europe.
