Top 10 countries to visit in 2013 part 1

We’re taking the start of the year to look at several top places to visit during 2013, and today we’ll start looking at the top ten countries that you should have on your list.

Sri Lanka

Now this place hasn’t been on any list with a nice sounding topic in a long while, it was battered by a tsunami in 2004, and wracked by a long civil war between 1983 to 2009. This has mean that large parts of the country have been off limits to even the most adventurous of travelers, but all of those things are now in the past.

Investment is fueling the tourism industry heavily and the number of visitors is steadily rising as a result of this, as well as the fact that the prices are affordable and low-cost flights are starting to pick up from Bangkok.

Montenegro

Now you might’ve maybe heard of this one, but odds are you haven’t. The tiny European country is a wonderful destination for those who love to see how creative nature can be. The bewitching Bay of Kotor comes to mind, with its beaches as well as its hiking opportunities. The country is banking on its appeal for the more adventurous traveler, looking for new places to hike, so the wild and rugged interior of the country is starting to become criss-crossed by a network of hiking and biking trails.

South Korea

Now this is a much better known place than the previous two, especially considering last year’s massive world-wide popularity of a certain South Korean artist.

The place has been doing great things to develop into quite the outdoor recreation destination, with still a lot of untapped potential for things like hiking, fishing and even golfing.

These are just three of the ten countries that we’ll be talking about to start with, keep our worldwide car rental services in mind if you plan on visiting any of them, they will surely come in hand.
