Peru trip

Peru trip

Going on a Peru trip will take you to a complex country where you can find a mix of ancient pageantry with stomping brass bands, an urban vanguard which bursts with artistry and innovation and trails that mark the way from dense jungle to glacial heights.

Visiting South America cannot be complete without a pilgrimage to what was once the glorious Inca citadel of Machu Picchu, but this major site is just the tiniest part of the peoples 5000-year history. You can walk through the remnant of a vast ancient city at Chan Chan as well, and then take a flight over the still-puzzling geoglyphs etched into the arid earth at Nazca. This is also a place in which you can venture into the rugged wilds and discover wonderful panoramas, while in Lima’s museums you can see priceless ceramics, gold artifacts and some of the finest textiles in the world. All of these are just a few parts of a people full of sophistication, skill and passion and you can actually visit remote communities to see how the traditional way of living still exists.

The place is a wonderful destination for those who are adventure seekers, featuring giant sand dunes, chiseled peaks and Pacific breaks that are all located only a few heartbeats away from the capital’s traffic-congested streets. In the Peruvian outdoors pretty much any and all activities are a go, whether it is rafting paragliding, zip lining or bike trails, they’re all present but there are plenty of other options as well. You can go through the jungle to follow big cat tracks or spot scarlet macaws, or you can join a pilgrimage to an Andean peak which is thought in local folklore to be a god.

The basic idea is that you shouldn’t rush while on a trip to Peru, there are so many things to see and do that you will regret if you hurry.
