The alphabet of travels: Best places to see in 2017 – Part 2

The alphabet of travels: Best places to see in 2017, here is what we were talking about last time. Today we get to travel to other beautiful places as well, moving on to more exciting destinations than ever.

Bucharest is the ultimate low cost European destinations. This lively Romanian cultural center, the capital city of the country, used to be called “the little Paris” at the beginning of the 20th century and it is worth discovering why. Indeed, if you’ve been to Paris, you will find the same squares and electing building choices, a miniature Arc DE Triumph, as well as samples of old and stimulating architecture. Part of the city has rather dogmatic buildings, but the city still retains its charm and, as a university center and economic hub, it is full of life and entertainment.

You can book lodgings and explore Bucharest car rental options at very low rates. And while you are in Romania, you can take that rented car and drive a couple of hours all the way to the next amazing destination:

Deeply nested in the high and imposing Carpathian Mountains, Brasov is one of the most precious cities in the country. An old Saxon Citadel, Brasov will give you a glimpse into the German European culture mixed with warm and welcoming Romanian elements.

And another half an hour’s drive or so from the beautiful Piata Sfatului, Brasov’s city center, you can go visit the spectacular Bran Castle, the medieval fort attributed to the legendary Dracula. And while this might be a simple legend fueled by Bram Stoker’s imagination, the castle is beautiful and gives you a glimpse into the proud and fascinating history of the authentic Romania.

Today’s travel alphabet has turned into an exploration of Romania, but it’s an excellent travel choice, especially if you want to go for a low cost trip.
