March tourist rendez-vous at ITB Berlin 2015

Everybody is looking forward to welcoming spring. The snow will be melting, the sun will begin to shine timidly and… well, the bills will be lower. But for the travel industry, the first days of spring bring about another reason to rejoice with the March tourist rendez-vous at ITB Berlin 2015.

Between the 4th and the 8th of March 2015, companies of the tourist industry, representatives of organizations working in the travel domain and the press will gather for the International Tourism Bourse in the German capital city. This is the leading travel event of the year so far, a large annual international tourism fair that is expected to attract over 170.000 professionals.

The exhibition ITB Berlin 2015 is going to take place at 22, Messedamm Berlin Germany over an area of 160.000 sqm. The Convention aims at covering important aspects, such as travel, tourism and the concept of hospitality. The opening hours of the show are, from 4 to 8 March from 10 AM to 6 PM. The exhibition is open to the general public between 7 and 8 March and the price of the entry ticket is 35 Euro for 1 day pass if booked online in advance or 52 Euro on site; and 50 Euro trade visit for 2 days f booked online in advance or 70 Euro on site.

Among the companies that are going to be present, there are tour operators, airlines, hotels, car rental companies, travel businesses and other service providers.

There are awards and prizes for competitors who are going to be exhibiting their product or services. Among the notable awards, there is the Best Exhibitor Awards ITB Berlin, the ITB BuchAwards and the Columbus Awards.
